This is an antique hand-painted bijouterie table. A French, decorated pine and glass display cabinet, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Delightfully presented bijouterie display case, graced with brilliant colour
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Wonderful green painted pine case and legs adorned with bright gilt carvings
- Circular glass pane to the opening lid free of marks and of bright appearance
- Generously sized display area, dressed with a quality silk cotton lining
- Colourful foliate garlands decorate the lid and fascia
- Dressed with an inset working lock — key present
- Artist's inscription inside lid reads 'Hand Painted, Maude Beale'
- Prominent mounts to the knee with scrolled detail to each apron
- Raised upon a quartet of slender tapering cabriole legs over pad feet
