This is an antique hallway stick stand. An English, mahogany reception hall umbrella rack, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

Distinctive form with storage for eight canes or umbrellas
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order

Charming demi-lune rack ends sit over the turned baluster supports
Standing upon a broad base with inset drainage holes and shaped bracket over squat bun feet
