This is an antique hall table. A Scottish, oak Victorian Gothic revival side table or dresser, dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1860.
- Appealing Scots table with Gothic revival taste
- Displays a desirable aged patina
- Select oak with attractive amber hues
- Fine grain interest to its wax polish finish
- Shaped backboard with small, raised shield
- Flared top with tiered, bevelled edge
- Broad knees surrounding field panel fascia
- Shaped apron with wonderfully arcaded finish
- Inset secret drawer to right, with large dovetail joints
- Wonderful, carved knees with inset cabochon carvings
- Raised upon elegant, twisted reed legs
- Standing upon squat, bun feet
