This is an antique glazed bookcase, an English Georgian display cabinet in mahogany and dating to the late 18th century circa 1780.
- Attractive, well figured mahogany displaying grain interest
- Good colour throughout with desirable aged patina
- Modest pediment over a pair of 12 pane astragal glazed doors
- Closing with a brass dust cover strip and lock and key
- Inside three adjustable shelves offer abundant storage
- A pair of field panel doors to lower cabinet
- Decorated with contrasting rosettes to each corner
- Grain interest to the panels delineated with a geometric string
- Inside a row of four drawers dressed with brass pulls over a pair of shelves
