This is an antique gentleman's valet stick. An English, faux bamboo metamorphic shooting stick with seat, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900. 

• Fascinating example of a metamorphic seat, with a superb appearance
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good, working order
• Faux bamboo presents bright caramel hues with dark mottling
• Quality fittings of cast white metal create the folding mechanism

• When folded, the seat creates a substantial, tactile handle in two parts
