This is an antique fireside stool. An English, mahogany and needlepoint footstool, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
- Benefits from a later professional upholstering in the traditional manner
- Reupholstered with a distinctive needlepoint covering in pink and blue hues
- Generously stuffed light blue cushion finished with a champagne coloured brocade trim
- Broad knees with shaped aprons situated at each corner
- Raised upon a quartet of squat cabriole legs with bold talon and ball feet
