This is an antique fireside foot rest. An English, walnut kneeling or gout stool, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.

Vivacious upholstery and of a generous size
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout

Of comfortable foot rest proportion for two
Press stud trim accentuates the cushioning, along the rolled frame edge
