This is an antique Victorian ladderback dining chair dating to c.1900.
Raised on turned legs united by a box stretcher this carver is in fine order crafted in English oak with a rich warm patina and good colour.
The shaped armrests sit comfortably above the rush seat which is in good order and provides a comfortable seat.
The seat back in typical ladder-back fashion is graduated in size from bottom to top and held between the rear, circular section stiles that terminate in mushroom finials to the top.
Solid joints and construction delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
