This is an antique duet stool. An English, walnut and rosewood fireside carriage rest, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

Graced with fine quality, appealing form and generous size
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Walnut frame with rosewood shows fines grain interest and rich russet hues
Needlepoint decoration to the traditionally stuffed and webbed cushion
Brown velour accentuated with a tasteful brocade trim
Raised upon a quartet of squat cabriole legs

This is an attractive antique duet stool, with delightful grain interest and comfortable raked form. Ideal for the living room or fireside. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
