This is an antique dresser base. An English, oak side cabinet with Georgian revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880. 

• Beautifully figured oak and superb craftsmanship
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select oak shows fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
• Rich caramel hues beam beneath a quality wax polish finish

• Arranged as a suite of three short drawers over two cupboard doors with central panelled insert
• Each drawer dressed with a pair of brass drop handles over shaped backplates
• Appointed with inset working locks to all openings — key present

• Striking green baize lines the outer two drawers - some remnants of ink commensurate with age
• Presenting field panels to each end with an attractive oak plank finish to rear
• Raised upon a shallow apron with a set of five ogee bracket feet
