This is an antique dome top carriage chest. An English, iron-bound pine travelling trunk and dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

Stout domed top with sturdy bound stretcher and shoulder
Front dressed with long, hinged clasp
Corners feature large dovetail joints and bound with further iron shoulders
