This is an antique display table, a Victorian mahogany side or lamp table, English c.1880.
- Fine table in choice mahogany with interest from every angle
- Raised on long sinuous cabriole legs with carved knee detail
- Standing upon unusual, well carved hairy hoof feet
- Lower, stepped, petal shaped tier appearing to hang from branched stretchers
- Shaped table top over serpentine apron
- Stylised foliate detail and petal borders framing central stand
A well executed design with good proportions. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
