This is an antique display bookcase. An English, walnut, boxwood inlay and ormolu dressed Empire cabinet, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• Two shaped lock escutcheons with foliate engravings over inset locks – key absent
• The interior arranged as a pair of shelves of generous size for a collection of treasured books

• Offers shelf heights of 37cm, 23cm and 25.5cm respectively
• Each shelf with a width of 107cm and depth of 23.5cm (42.25" and 9.25")
• Ormolu mounts frame the pair of cabinet doors in the manner of foliate rosettes
