William IV Dining Table
Our Stock # LFA-1127
This is an antique English tilt top dining (breakfast) table dating to c.1835.
From the reign of William IV this table has a deep, rich, lustrous polished finish to the well figured mahogany top that has rounded corners above a plain frieze.
Tilting on the original mechanism with built in fall arm the table rises on a quadra-form baluster support mounted on a rectangular base upon giant hairy paw feet housing the original integrated brass castors.
The table comfortably seats six people and the generous proportions offer plenty of width to dress the centre when dining.
Superb quality and a stunning piece presented in good antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
