This is an antique decorative West Highland Terrier. A British, spelter over oak ornamental Westie dog, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Nicely detailed ornament with copious character and charm
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order commensurate with age
Detailed form and proportion, the spelter sculpture finished in mellow hues
Displaying signs of paint wear from decades of loving handling
Presented upon a quality oak plinth with wisps of medullary rays
