This is an antique decorative Scottish Terrier. A British, spelter over oak ornamental Scottie dog, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Nicely detailed and full of character
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Of appealing, true to breed form, the spelter sculpture offers a melange of mellow hues
Displays signs of paint wear commensurate with age
Presented upon a quality oak plinth with wisps of medullary rays
