This is an antique decorative censer. A Chinese, bronze incense burner, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
- Delightfully ornate and substantial burner, with appealing finish
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Quality bronze shows mellow grey-gold hues throughout
- Relief animals upon a foliate background create a distinctive appearance
- Lift-off lid finished with a quartet of heart shaped vents
- Raised upon four splayed feet, redolent of an elephant's foot
