This is an antique Davenport. An English, rosewood and satinwood writing desk, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

• Dressed with a small circular lock escutcheon to the front fascia — key absent
• Upper surface with low back rest ideal for ink wells or drawing sets

• A suite of four drawers to the right hand side, with faux fronts opposite
• Removable stopper within the interior releases the long pen drawer to the right
• Elegant barley twist supports meet the U-shaped plinth base
• Rising smoothly upon four brass and ceramic castors
