This is an antique court cupboard, a late Georgian, English oak sideboard in the Jacobean taste dating to circa 1800.

Deep, rich tones to the English oak
Desirable aged patina in a wax polished finish
Mid-sized and profusely decorated with carved foliate detail
Cupboard doors dressed with external butterfly hinges and turned pulls
Original iron locks in place with key absent

Planked top overhangs foliate carved frieze
A pair of stout cup and cover pillars to the front
Behind, a pair of cupboards flanking central panel
Arrangement repeated below in larger form offering abundant storage
Standing upon turned legs to the front, square section to the back
United by shaped, box stretcher at floor level

A super example with solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
