This is an antique country housekeeper's cabinet. An English, oak and elm dresser base, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
- Wonderful Georgian cabinetry with appealing proportion
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

- Arrangement of two drawers over a pair of wide cabinet doors
- Field panelling adds interest to the fascia, with a vanity panel to centre
- Each drawer dressed with a pair of brass drop handles over batwing backplates
- Drawer boxes crafted from nicely figured elm
- Cabinet doors open upon delightful H-shaped butterfly hinges
- Each door replete with inset, working locks — key present
- Full-width shelf, with heights at 25cm (9.75'') and 23cm (9'') respectively
- Tapering lower valence above a quartet of block feet
