This is an antique console table from the 19th century, Scottish oak with carved decoration dating to c.1890. 

  • A handsome console table displaying good colour throughout
  • Well figured with grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
  • The top finished with an edge moulding detail and backed with a shaped up-stand
  • The shaped apron mirrors the up-stand, both beautifully decorated with carved, reciprocating stylised rosettes
  • Raised on stout 'ball and reel' turned front legs terminating in pear feet
  • Typical flat back legs allow for close wall placement
  • Of quality craftsmanship and in good order throughout

      A magnificent piece presented with solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
