Antique Chinese Rosewood Plant Stand

This is a 19th Century, Chinese, rosewood and marble plant stand dating to c.1870.
Raised on tall, sinuous, carved cabriole legs united by twin x-frame stretchers, the apron is profusely carved and pierced in the form of foliage dotted with primrose detail.
Above, in quatrefoil form, a ring collar sits beneath the top featuring an inset rouge-marble plate framed by well figured rosewood and bordered by a 'pearl' bead detail carving to the perimeter.
Stunning and in good order this piece is delivered waxed and polished ready for the home.
