This is an antique, English chest of drawers dating to the late 17th Century.
The warm dark hues of the aged oak display a wonderful patina throughout. The cabinet offers generous storage in three deep, full width drawers decorated with mitred geometric moulding detail and later, sympathetic baluster drop handles on circular pressed back plates.
Raised on bun feet to a modest 'D' moulding, this deep chest features double field panels to the sides, a beautiful three plank top and heavy oak drawer liners sliding on channels and runners.
A fabulous chest of drawers delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
