This is an antique, Victorian pine chest of drawers dating to c.1900.
The cabinetry is in an attractive, mellow, satin pine, the chest raised on a plinth base with serpentine bracketing to the front.
The deep, dove tailed, drawers are arranged in a two over two configuration showing few knots, a stepped edge detail and dressed with later pierced brass drop handles and quatrefoil lock escutcheons.
The top is in good order and edged with a simple moulding in keeping with the modest simplicity of this piece.
An attractive chest of good quality, solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
