This is an antique chess table. An English, burr walnut over mahogany games or side table, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

- Gaming surface presented with bleached and ebonised birch chess squares
- The chessboard is 30.5cm (12”) wide sat comfortably within an ovular tabletop
- The whole supported with a slender mahogany column
- Elegantly carved, tri-form cabriole legs with quality leaf detail to the knee and toe
