This is an antique centre table. A Flemish, mahogany and oak occasional table of overt Dutch taste and dating to the late 18th century, circa 1800.
- Attractive serpentine form in select cuts of mahogany and oak
- Fine grain interest and a desirable aged patina
- Stout 2.5cm (1") top features wide marquetry border around central frieze
- Fully realised back ideal for central room placement
- Drawer to front dressed with brass, working lock escutcheon and drop handles, key present
- Valanced skirt decorates the table base
- Raised upon four, wonderfully sinuous cabriole legs
