This is an antique carriage stool, a long, Victorian footrest in walnut with needlepoint tapestry upholstery and dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1860.

Solid walnut, displays well with a wax polished finish
In biscuit hues, grain interest with a desirable aged patina
Canted for comfort and broad enough to share

Traditionally stuffed beneath a needlepoint tapestry cloth
Displaying a classic floral pattern on a deep blue ground
Raised on delightful china, gadrooned bun feet
