This is an antique butler's silver valet stand. An English, walnut portable work box, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

Inset butler's grasp, in period aiding carriage from cabinet to cabinet
Offers a pair of lidded compartments, the smaller front box can be removed
Larger rear box dressed with a brass leopard's head pull, opening upon a brass hinge
Standing upon a quartet of turned legs, with a set of brass castors
