This is an antique bergere suite. An English, beech and cane chair and sofa set, dating to the Edwardian period of the early 20th century, circa 1910.

• Traditionally stuffed with cloth in excellent condition - recently professionally upholstered

• Seat-back finished with cane-work in superb, taut, undamaged condition

• Broad, generous arms finished with further cane and rolled tops for comfort
• Gently curving frame cossets the deep, inviting cushions
• Upholstered base with piped edge delineating the lower apron, with central shell motif
• Standing upon squat cabriole legs to the front, and square section legs at the rear
