This is an antique afternoon tea table. An English, ebonised mahogany cake stand or occasional table, dating to the Aesthetic period, circa 1880.
- Captivates with its pleasingly unusual form
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Deeply ebonised mahogany stocks cut a dash beneath a wax polish finish
- Circular upper tier offers a useful diameter of 38cm (15")
- Rakish tri-form lower tier rotates smoothly around the baluster column support
- Standing upon a trio of long, splayed legs, each accentuated with fluting
