This is an antique adjustable fireplace fender. An English, brass extending fire kerb, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
- Superb fireplace interest with charming Cherubic motif
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good antique order
- Brass presents warm golden tones and a gently time-worn appearance
- Of adjustable width, with the attendants sliding upon the central fender rail
- A delightfully classic aesthetic, the attendants hosting lounging Cherub figures
- Ornamental urn finials sit atop the scrolled motif pilaster with foliate and leaf relief details
- Fender adorned with a foliate wreath pediment to the centre with appealing scrolled form
- Engraving to the rear with the Victorian Regina Royal cypher mark
