This is an attractive Aesthetic Movement,åÊ antique, conservatory suite in the Chinoiserie taste and bergere style.

Appealing ebonised frame highlighted in gold with a desirable aged patina
Raised on generous talon and ball feet ‰ÛÒ the balls in gold
Shaped seat rails uniting the legs for added strength and stability
Professionally replaced cane-work in fine order throughout

Generous deep seat panels complimented with soft filled cushions
Cloth mostly in serviceable order but would benefit from recovering at some stage
Shaped and scrolled armrests featuring golden feathered decoration
Raked rear panels framed by sinous stiles , splat and crest rail
Beautifully decorated with Japanned oriental scenes of figures, mountains, pagodas and birds
