This is a long vintage country house dining table. An English, oak high quality 8 seater kitchen or refectory table by Brights of Nettlebed, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980. 

  • Wonderful revival taste by the renowned furniture craftsmen of Brights
  • Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
  • Select oak stocks present fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
  • Inviting warm caramel hues beam beneath the wax polish finish
  • At 7' 8" in length, the table offering comfortable seating for 8 diners
  • Bracketed plank top with stout cleated ends crafted at a thickness of 4.5cm (1.75'')
  • Beneath the carved apron accentuated with chased Gothic taste, a kneehole height of 58.5cm (23'')
  • Bold shoulders enclose the apron and adorned with shaped brackets
  • Raised upon broad block feet with turned legs, united by a substantial stretcher rail
  • Maker's label for Brights of Nettlebed to the underside, with serial number

This is an exceptional vintage country house dining table, with superb craftsmanship as to be expected from Brights of Nettlebed. Perfect for the larger room. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
