This is a vintage terrestrial drinks globe. A Continental, composite hardwood cocktail trolley cabinet, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.

• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Decorated composite hardwood presents rich caramel hues and warm palette
• Domed lid dressed with small wooden finial and inset hinge

• Historically annotated globe with copious detail and appealing colour
• Equatorial rim presents each of the astrological signs with Latin month names
• Lower half of the dome spins independently, in line with the drinks rack within
• The rack presents a central receptacle with a trio of outer bottle rests

• Dome interior finished with an eye-catching satin gold hue
• The whole raised upon a quartet of turned spindle legs
• Circular base with compass motif displaying the cardinal and intercardinal points
• Riding smoothly upon a set of brass castors
