This is a large antique decorative jardiniere. An English, ceramic planter or bowl, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.

- Midnight blue ceramic ground free of marks or cracks
- Flourishes of golden decoration catch the eye
- Serpentine shaped rim with hollow panels and scrolled forms
- Foliate decorated panels emerge from the deep blue ground
- Accentuated further with dappled golden touches
- Petal shaped lower edge brightened with a flourish of gold tooling
