This is an antique dresser base, A Victorian, Georgian revival sideboard in English oak dating to circa 1880. 

• Of quality craftsmanship in stout stocks of English oak
• Displaying grain interest highlighted with wisps of medullary rays
• In honey hues with a lustrous, wax polished finish
• Field panel ends, planked back boards and raised on square section legs

• The broad plank top displays well finished with a moulded edge detail
• A suite of three cutlery and napery drawers
• Over a pair of cupboards flanking two further, graduated drawers
• The oak lined drawers offer abundant storage
• Dressed with solid brass, swan neck drop handles and batwing keyhole escutcheons

• The field panel, cupboard doors with brass loop handles
• Twist catches holding them closed
• Opening on quality hinges the inner space divided in two
• The iron locks work on all cupboards and drawers except the bottom drawer
