This is a vintage beam compass. A German, silver nickel cartographer's or architect's drawing instrument by Riefler, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.
- Quality German instrument set in a quality carry case
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Silver nickel instrument body presents bright tonality
- Textured case dressed to the interior with a black velvet lining
- Comprises the 26/R2 42" beam compass, in two pieces for a length of 106cm
- Replete with a pair of accessory points and acrylic nib pots
- Supplied with a Riefler cleaning cloth in good order
- Made in Western Germany to the reverse of the case
