This is an antique trumpet sewing table. An English, rosewood ladies work table, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in very good order throughout
- Select stocks present superb grain interest and rich caramel hues
- Octagonal form to the top with exquisite quarter book-matched finish
- Set within the tapering form, the octagonal interior hosts a lidded compartment
- Suite of small outer compartments ideal for cotton reels, and four pin cushions
- Apron adorned with sash carvings and drop finial decorations
- Inset, brass-lined lock in working order — key present
- Acanthus carved collar accentuates the tapered trumpet support
- Trio of extravagant cabriole legs with scrolled detail to knees and toes
- Central drop finial sits between each leg with collared form
- Riding smoothly upon a set of brass castors
