This is an antique metamorphic wine table. An English, mahogany tilt top side or lamp table, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.
- Elegant metamorphic table with superb figuring and colour
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout
- Rich caramel hues beam beneath a quality wax polish finish
- Distinctive octagonal top accentuated with double boxwood stringing
- Adjusting for height and titling through 90 degrees for ease of stowing
- Turned column with collared finish, the riser situated within a brass screw mount
- Standing upon a delightfully serpentine trio of slender legs
