This is an antique four-strike palazzo wall chime. An Italian, brass and oak dinner gong, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Superb wall decoration with dulcet tones and a striking diamond form
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Brass cymbals show light weathering, with a reflective golden finish
- Select oak for the plinth shows fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
- Plinth hosts four individual notes, for a melodic call to dinner
- Each cymbal suspended upon brass arms with leather straps
- Pierced brass inlay accentuates the plinth with profuse foliate detail
- Each point of the diamond hosts a gilt brass scallop shell emblem
- Supplied with a cork ball striker ready for playing a pleasing chime
- Pair of brass mounting sockets aid ease of wall hanging
- Diamond motif accentuated upon the rear with lighter coloured backing paper
