This is an antique 10 person afternoon tea service. An English, 31 piece ceramic cup, saucer, tiffin plate and sugar bowl set, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

Eye-catching Victorian ceramics with great colour and detail
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Quality ceramic profusely decorated in a Japanese Imari pattern
Palette of red, blue and gold sits tastefully upon a white ground
Set comprises 10 cups, saucers and tiffin plates, with a sugar bowl for refined afternoon tea settings
Striking foliate pattern work with generous use of gilt paint accents
Trio of colourful panels surround flowerhead medallions with vine motif on a white ground
Maker's mark to base for Davenport of Staffordshire, with the pattern number 3545
