This is an antique fireside store. An English, brass coal bucket with cover, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Pleasingly polished fireside keep from the Regency period
Displays a desirable aged patina with signs of gentle tarnishing
Highly polished brass radiates striking golden tones throughout
Of tapering form, with distinctive inset copper detail to lid
Folding rolled carry handle for ease of movement
Raised upon a canted trio of squat bun feet
