This is an antique hunting day cellarette. An Irish, mahogany wine storage box by Gillingtons of Dublin, dating to the late Regency period, circa 1830.

• Superb craftsmanship with a rich appearance and fine storage for wine bottles
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good antique order
• Select stocks present superior grain interest throughout

• Opening to an eight division fitted interior, ideal for bottles and glasses
• Small lidded section to the right hand side, deep within the compartment
• Each dressed with green baize for protecting glass when in transit
  
  
• Excellent lion head mask's with drop handles adorn each side
• Inset, brass-lined lock to the fascia — untested, key absent
• Maker's mark for Gillingtons of Dublin, with the serial number 5781 opposite

This is an exceptional antique hunting day cellarette, blessed with sumptuous colour and beautifully figured stocks. Nicely appointed inside and out, and as useful today as it was nearly 200 years ago. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home or hunt.
