This is a set of 6 vintage terrace chairs. A Middle Eastern, teak folding veranda steamer chair, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970. 

• Striking set in the manner of traditional steamer deck chairs
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Teak stocks present rich russet hues with fine grain interest
• Inlaid brass shimmers with appealing golden tones

• Shaped top rail with a distinctive, inset Ottoman calligraphy emblem
• Arranged with four pierced back splats of gently bowed form
• Each splat accentuated with inlaid brass scrolling vines
• Shaped arm rests host a repeat of the scrolling vine motif

• Shaped saddle with four pierced slats offer a relaxed, seating angle
• Standing upon an A-frame, each seat bold in profile with canted arms
• Each square section leg united with a stretcher rail for stability
