This is an antique gentleman's nightstand. An English, mahogany bedside chest of drawers, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1780.
- Appealingly figured bedroom nightstand with useful proportion
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Dashing select stocks present fine grain interest throughout
- Sumptuous caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
- Arrangement of three graduated drawers with inset brass lined locks — key absent
- Drawer boxes crafted from oak, the fascia accentuated with cockbeading to the edge
- Fascia dressed with later brass handles in Aesthetic Period taste
- The whole standing upon a quartet of collar turned bun feet
