This is an antique dressing stool. An English, walnut and needlepoint footstool, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

Delightful needlepoint cushion over a finely crafted frame
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality walnut stocks show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues

Reupholstered with a needlepoint covering, the maker's monogram dated '77'
