This is a vintage hanging charger plate. An English, ceramic decorative fruit dish, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.

Fascinating plate with Oriental Art Deco taste
Displays a desirable aged patina - in good original order
Ceramic presents a light green ground with concentric painted finish
Large dragon motif with relief casting in darker green hues
Rim distinctively decorated with continuous cloud band motif
Maker's mark to rear reads 'Crown Ducal - Made in England
Interest continues with the artist's signature - Charlotte Rhead (1885 - 1947)
Complete with hanging wire for wall display - can also be used as a fruit dish or centrepiece
