This is a vintage flower vase. A German, ceramic lava slip or decorative hall stick stand, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1970.

Striking period colour and decoration
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Ceramic form decorated with inset lozenge patterns
Ivy green ground with contrasting bands of saffron yellow
Maker's mark to base reads W. Germany, pattern 289-41
