This is a vintage fire basket, an English, 20th Century Georgian revival fireplace grate.
- An attractive fire grate presented in very good vintage condition
- In lovely hand forged iron and pleasingly patinated chrome
- Suitable for all fuel types and finished in graphite grate polish
- Solidly constructed with classic English styling
- Dressed with brass finials to the front
- Large basket supported by stout scroll legs over chamfered feet
- Quadruple bow front rails so typical of earlier Georgian pieces
- Desirable humped back-plate for heat retention and reflection
- Removable grate for easy cleaning
