This is a vintage decorative vase. A Chinese, ceramic baluster stem or posy vase in onion form, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.

Profusely decorated with a charming appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina and free of marks
Medium blue ground applied to the bulbous onion form
Decorated with superb polychromatic enamels in an attractive palette

Oriental court scenes adorn the front and rear faces
Birds of paradise decorate the ground between each panel
Foliate patterns add further visual interest
